English

Objective: This study investigates the role of organizational innovative behavior and its underlying dimensions in tourism destination branding from the perspective of experts. It examines how individual, organizational, and networking dimensions contribute to the commercialization and enhancement of destination brands. Methodology: A descriptive-survey design was employed. Following a systematic review of the literature, three dimensions—individual, organizational, and networking—and eleven sub-dimensions were identified and used to develop a researcher-made questionnaire. The instrument was assessed for validity and reliability using pilot testing, Cronbach’s alpha, and exploratory factor analysis. Data were collected from 234 tourism experts, including managers, academics, PhD students, consultants, and tourism professionals, using convenience sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics in SPSS 22. Findings: The findings showed that organizational innovative behavior has a positive and significant effect on tourism destination branding. Among the three dimensions, networking factors had the greatest impact, followed by individual factors, while organizational factors had the least impact. The only significant difference in viewpoints was found between senior managers and doctoral students. Conclusion: Organizational innovative behavior can serve as a comprehensive approach to strengthening tourism destination branding. In particular, networking, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement can enhance destination visibility, attract tourists, and strengthen brand identity. Policymakers and tourism managers should therefore integrate innovation into organizational strategies and promote collaborative approaches to destination branding.
