Objective: digital content marketing. Given the limited existing research, the need for a deeper investigation of the subject, and the necessity of its conceptual development, identifying the factors affecting entrepreneurial entry is of particular importance. Research Method:This study is applied in terms of its purpose and descriptive in terms of its data collection approach. A qualitative research design was adopted, and data were collected through in-depth, open-ended interviews with 18 experts. To provide a rich description and develop a comprehensive and emergent model of the factors influencing entrepreneurial entry, the collected data were analyzed using thematic analysis. Findings:The findings resulted in the identification of six categories of factors, namely contextual, supportive communication, driving communication, production, adaptability, and intra-organizational factors, centered on the core category of entrepreneurial entry. Contextual factors included actors and educational institutions; supportive communication factors comprised accessibility and financing; driving communication factors included social media advertising, interactivity, customer orientation, and distribution marketing; production factors encompassed product characteristics and content features; adaptability factors included modelability and changeability; and intra-organizational factors comprised organizational characteristics, personal characteristics, and other core factors. Furthermore, entrepreneurial entry was influenced by the social context, ecosystem orientation, governance factors, market characteristics, and regulatory compliance. The identified factors were classified into two groups: internal factors within the control of businesses and factors beyond their direct control. Production, adaptability, and intra-organizational factors are largely within the control of businesses and directly affect the way they enter entrepreneurial activities, whereas contextual, supportive communication, and driving communication factors are not directly under the control of businesses. Conclusion:The proposed model indicates that the identified factors can directly and indirectly influence entrepreneurial entry. Therefore, simultaneous attention to controllable internal factors and environmental and communication factors beyond the direct control of businesses can help entrepreneurs optimize the entrepreneurial entry process and advance their business objectives in the context of digital content marketing.
